Miss Colombia 2015
Miss Colombia 2015 was the 63rd edition of the Miss Colombia pageant. It was held on November 16, 2015 in Cartagena, Colombia. At the end of the event, Ariadna Gutiérrez of Sucre crowned Andrea Tovar of Chocó as Miss Colombia 2016. She represented Colombia in Miss Universe 2016 and placed 2nd Runner-Up. Andrea Tovar
Jealisse Andrea Tovar Velásquez (born 3 September 1993) simply known as Andrea Tovar, is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Colombia 2015, representing Colombia at Miss Universe 2016, where she ended up as 2nd runner-up. Personal life Andrea Tovar was born in Quibdó, she is the daughter of physician Antonio Tovar and Xenia Rosa Velásquez a Homemaker. She is currently studying Industrial Design and Photographic Image Production at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá. Miss Colombia 2015 She was crowned Miss Chocó in 2014, but as another contestant was selected in a different pageant to represent the same department, she had to postpone her participation in the national pageant until 2015. She was the Miss Colombia with the longest time in holding the crown, she was Miss Colombia for 16 months and 4 days. Meta Department
Meta () is a departments of Colombia, department of Colombia. It is close to the geographic center of the country, to the east of the Andean mountains. A large portion of the department, which is also crossed by the Meta River, is covered by a grassland plain known as the Llanos. Its capital is Villavicencio. The department has a monument placed in the very geographic centre of Colombia, at a place known as Alto de Menegua, a few kilometers from Puerto López. Flag Of Bogotá
The flag of Bogotá was adopted as a symbol of the city on October 9, 1952, through decree 555 issued by the Office of Mayor. It's formed by a yellow horizontal strip, which occupies the upper half, and a red horizontal strip, which complements the lower part. In the center is the coat of arms of the city. The yellow color means justice, virtue and kindness while the red color means liberty, health and charity. The norm also specifies that for the use of the flag as a banner its proportion will be twice as wide as it is long and for its use as a standard its proportion will be two and a half times the length of its width. Buenaventura is a coastal seaport city in the department of Valle del Cauca, Colombia (South America). Buenaventura (Spanish for "good fortune") is the main port of Colombia in the Pacific Ocean.
