Miss Belgium 2009
The Miss Belgium 2009 was held on December 23, 2008 in the Spiroudome, Charleroi, Belgium. There were 20 contestants representing provinces and municipalities of Belgium. The winner, Zeynep Sever, entered Miss Universe 2009 and Miss World 2009. The first runner up entered Miss International 2009. The third runner entered Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 and the fourth runner up entered Miss Intercontinental 2009. Zeynep Sever
Zeynep Kübra Sever Demirel (born 9 July 1989) is a Turkish volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Belgium 2009 and also she represented Belgium at Miss Universe 2009, where she was placed among the Top 15. Personal Zeynep Sever married Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper, Volkan Demirel on 21 September 2010. They have two daughters together. She also played volleyball for Fenerbahçe. Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (; french: Leeuw-Saint-Pierre) is a Dutch-speaking municipality of Belgium located in the province of Flemish Brabant (Flemish Region). The municipality comprises the towns of Oudenaken, Ruisbroek, Sint-Laureins-Berchem, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw proper and Vlezenbeek. Kelmis (; french: La Calamine, ) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège, named for the historical deposits of calamine (zinc ore) nearby. , the population was 10,881; the area is and the population density is . Asse () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant. It comprises the towns of Asse proper, Bekkerzeel, Kobbegem, Mollem, Relegem and Zellik. Asse is also situated in the Pajottenland. As of 2020, Asse had a total population of 32,958. The total area is 49.64 km² which gives a population density of circa 660 inhabitants per km². Brasschaat () is a municipality located in Flanders, one of the three regions of Belgium, and in the Flemish province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Brasschaat proper.
