Arsen Romanovich Mirzoyan ( uk, Арсен Романович Мірзоян; born 20 May 1978), is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter. He was declared "Merited Artist of Ukraine" in 2020 and awarded the "Order of Merit, 3rd class" in 2022. Biography Arsen Mirzoyan was born of Armenian descent in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine in 1978 and graduated from school in 1995. During his years in school, he also took part in concerts and wrote poems, some of which were later used in his songs. However, he had no formal musical education, and he went on to qualify as a non-ferrous metallurgy engineer from the Engineering Institute of Zaporizhzhia National University. He then worked in Zaporizhzhia, first for aircraft engine manufacturer Motor Sich and then in the machine shop of steel maker Zaporizhstal, where he worked for twelve years as site foreman. Edvard Mik'aeli Mirzoyan ( hy, Էդվարդ Միքայելի Միրզոյան; May 12, 1921 – October 5, 2012) was an Armenian composer. Edvard Mirzoyan was born in Gori, Georgia. He called himself an atheist, but added, "There is only one planet on which people live and are being born. And while it is, it's a miracle. A miracle, every leaf and every bug.... And it all depends on how you are able to enjoy this miracle. Some do not even think that they were born into a miracle." Arakel Mirzoyan ( hy, Առաքել Միրզոյան; born October 21, 1989) is an Armenian weightlifter. Early life Arakel Mirzoyan was born in Baghramyan, Vagharshapat, Armenian SSR. His father, Oksen Mirzoyan, was a weightlifter who won an Olympic gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, the then Head Coach of the Armenian national weightlifting team and the current Chairman of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation. Mirzoyan began following in his father's footsteps at a young age. His own weightlift career started when he lifted 20 kg weight at the age of 5. Oksen Mirzoyan ( hy, Օգսեն Միրզոյան, born 11 June 1961) is a former Soviet Armenian weightlifter and European, World and Olympic Champion. Mirzoyan was awarded the Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR title in 1984 and the Honored Coach of Armenia title in 1998. Alexander Zavenovich Mirzayan (russian: Александр Завенович Мирзаян) (born on July 20, 1945) is a Russian poet, composer, songwriter, Bard (Soviet Union), bard and bard music theoretician. He was born in Baku. In 1969 he graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and worked as a physics engineer in the Moscow Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics.
