Mirshahin Agayev
Mirshahin Agayev Dilaver oglu ( az, Mirşahin Ağayev Dilavər oğlu; born 1963 in Yardimli, Azerbaijan) also known as simply Mir Shahin ( az, Mir Şahin) is a journalist and reporter during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He's now the Vice President for Production of ANS Group of Companies and Executive Producer of ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company. He also used to be the General Director of ANS ChM Radio Broadcasting Company. Agayev is co-founder of several firms under ANS Group of Companies which include ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company, ANS Chm Radio Broadcasting Company, ANS Commerce, ANS-PRESS Publishing Company. Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is an ethnic and territorial conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians, and seven surrounding districts, inhabited mostly by Azerbaijanis until their expulsion during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. ANS Radio or ANS ChM (pronounced ) is a private news and music radio station located in Baku, Azerbaijan, which broadcasts on the 102 frequency. The station also streams content over the Internet for free. Chingiz Mustafayev (journalist)
Chingiz Mustafayev ( az, Çingiz Fuad oğlu Mustafayev; August 29, 1960 – June 15, 1992) was an independent Azerbaijani journalist, posthumously bestowed the state order National Hero of Azerbaijan. Mustafayev, with the medical degree and no formal background in journalism save for a year of on the job training, created a video record of the early stages of the First Nagorno-Karabakh War, most of the documentary had to be shot from the frontline which ultimately was the cause of his abrupt death due to mortar wounds. Osman Mirzayev ( az, Osman Mirzəyev Mirzahuseyn oğlu; April 13, 1937 – November 20, 1991) was a journalist, writer and publicist in Soviet Azerbaijan, then part of the USSR. The journalist is the father of Sevinj Osmanqizi. Osman Mirzayev is widely regarded as one of the great pioneers of independent journalism in Azerbaijan.
