Mirsad Huseinovic
Mirsad Huseinovic (born November 26, 1968) is a U.S. soccer player. He spent one season in the American Professional Soccer League and one game Major League Soccer. He also earned one cap with the U.S. national team. Youth and college Huseinovic moved to the United States from Montenegro with his family when he was five. His family settled in Brooklyn where he learned to play soccer from his father. He attended New Utrecht High School, graduating in 1987. He then attended Brooklyn College from 1988 to 1992 where he played on the men’s soccer team. While playing with Brooklyn, he also played with several teams in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League (CSL), including Gjoa and the Albanians. Professional Huseinovic played at least two years with the Brooklyn Italians, winning the 1991 U.S. Open Cup with them. Plav, Montenegro
Plav ( cyrl, Плав; sq, Plavë) is a town in north-eastern Montenegro. It has a population of 3,717 (2011 census). Plav is the centre of Plav Municipality (population of 9,081 following the formation of Gusinje Municipality). Name The name ''Plav'' (Плав) is derived from Slavic ''plav'', "a flooded place" (''poplava'', "flood"). Geography Plav is located at the foot of the Accursed Mountains range, adjacent to the springs of the river Lim. Bosniaks Of Montenegro
Bosniaks are an ethnic group in Montenegro, first introduced in the 2003 census. According to the last census from 2011, the total number of Bosniaks in Montenegro was 53,605 or 8.6% of the population. Bosniaks are the third largest ethnic group in the country, after Montenegrins and Serbs. Demographics Bosniaks primarily live in the Sandžak area of northern Montenegro, and form the majority of the population in four municipalities: Rožaje (83.91%), Petnjica (83.02%), Plav (56%) and Gusinje (42.64%). Jorge Acosta
Jorge Acosta (born May 29, 1964) is a Colombian-born American retired soccer forward. He spent most of his career in the lower U.S. divisions, as well as four in the Colombian first division. He also earned twelve caps with the U.S. national team in 1991 and 1992. Early life Acosta was born in Colombia, but attended Kennedy High School in Paterson, New Jersey where he played on the boys' soccer team. In two seasons, he scored sixty-three goals, including 34 as a senior. After graduating from high school in 1982, Acosta attended Long Island University. Career Professional In 1988, he signed with the New Jersey Eagles of the American Soccer League (ASL). The Eagles played their home games in historic Hinchliffe Stadium. Velibor "Bora" Milutinović ( sr-Cyrl, Велибор Бора Милутиновић; born 7 September 1944) is a Serbian former professional footballer and manager. He has managed at five editions of the FIFA World Cup, tied for the record alongside Brazilian manager Carlos Alberto Parreira, but did so in five consecutive World Cups with different teams: Mexico (1986), Costa Rica (1990), the United States (1994), Nigeria ( 1998), and China (2002).
