Miroslav Poche
Miroslav Poche (born 3 June 1978) is a Czech politician and economist. He has been a Member of the European Parliament for the Czech Republic from 2014 till 2019. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party. Early career From 2009 until 2010, Poche served as adviser in the cabinet of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Kohout. Member of the European Parliament, 2014–2019 Since joining the European Parliament, Poche has been serving on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. In addition to his committee assignments, he has been a member of the Parliament's delegations for relations with China and to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. 2019 Moldovan Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Moldova on 24 February 2019 in order to elect the 101 members of the Parliament of Moldova. The Constitution holds that elections are to be held no later than four years and three months from the date of inauguration of the previous legislature. The elections were held under a parallel voting system, replacing the closed-list proportional system used in Moldova at all previous parliamentary elections since the independence. The electoral campaign period began in November 2018 and continued up until the election day. Jan Hamáček
Jan Hamáček (born 4 November 1978) is a Czech politician who was leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) from February 2018 until October 2021, and minister of the Interior from June 2018 to December 2021. He also served as the speaker of the Chamber of Deputies from 2013 to 2017, and was acting minister of Foreign Affairs from June to October 2018 and from 12 to 21 April 2021. Hamáček was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2006 to 2021. Political career Prior to his election to parliament, Hamáček worked as an adviser to two prime ministers, and as his party's International Secretary. Hamáček was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in the 2006 elections. Miloš Zeman
Miloš Zeman (; born 28 September 1944) is a Czech politician serving as the third and current President of the Czech Republic since 2013. He previously served as the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 1998 to 2002.
