Miron Babiak
Miron Babiak, (January 31, 1932 in Sanok, Poland – September 25, 2013 in Gdynia, Poland), was a Polish sea captain, who is best known for commanding Prof. Siedlecki Antarctica research ship. Early career Miron Babiak is an alumnus of Szkoła Rybołóstwa Morskiego in Gdynia Gdynia ( ; ; german: Gdingen (currently), (1939–1945); csb, Gdiniô, , , ) is a city in northern Poland and a seaport on the Baltic Sea coast.
