Miri Mesika
Miri Mesika ( he, מירי מסיקה; born May 3, 1978) is an Israeli singer and actress. She won several Israeli Female Singer of the Year awards. She has sold more than 200,000 copies of her albums in Israel. Biography Miri Mesika was born and grew up in Herzliya, Israel, to a Sephardic-Mizrahi Jewish family. Her father is of Tunisian-Jewish descent and her mother is of Iraqi-Jewish descent. As a child she studied music, and played the guitar and the recorder at the city music school. In 1994, she was accepted to HaYovel High School, where she studied theatre and music. She served as an operations NCO in the IDF's Infantry Corps. Music career In 1999, Mesika started her studies at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Ramat HaSharon, the leading music school in Israel that exported many Israeli singers such as Noa and Aviv Geffen. Aviv Geffen ( he, אביב גפן, born 10 May 1973) is an Israeli rock musician, singer, songwriter and the son of writer and poet Yehonatan Geffen and Nurit Makover, brother of actress Shira Geffen, and an alumnus of Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. In addition to his solo career, Geffen is a founding member of the band Blackfield , he was also the global music director for WeWork. Nurit Zarchi
Nurit Zarchi (Hebrew: נורית זרחי) (born Jerusalem, October 19, 1941; 28 Tishri 5702 AM) is an Israeli poet and author for adults and children. Her father was the author Israel Zarchi. He died when she was six, leaving her an orphan. She was raised at Kibbutz Geva as a guest. Later she went to Ein Harod, where she completed her secondary schooling. Hayim Nahman Bialik ( he, חיים נחמן ביאַליק; January 9, 1873 – July 4, 1934), was a Jewish poet who wrote primarily in Hebrew but also in Yiddish.
