Kim Yoon-jin (; born May 14, 1996), known professionally as Mirani (), is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. She first garnered attention when she appeared on the rap competition TV show ''Show Me the Money 9'' in 2020. She released the single "VVS (song), VVS" with rappers Munchman, Khundi Panda, and Mushvenom on the show which peaked at number 1 on the Gaon Digital Chart and won Hip-hop Track of the Year at the Korean Hip-hop Awards. She signed to hip hop label Area in 2021 where she released the extended play Uptown Girl (EP), ''Uptown Girl'' (2021). Early life and education Kim Yoon-jin was born on May 14, 1996. She graduated from Ewha Womans University with a bachelor's degree in fashion industry. She adopted the stage name "Mirani" from the character Mori Ran (known as Yoo Miran in South Korea) from the Japanese manga ''Case Closed''. Lee Tae-min (; born June 20, 1994), known professionally as Mushvenom (; stylized in all caps), is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. He is known for his humorous lyrics and using the Chungcheong dialect in his rap. Mushvenom first garnered attention when he appeared on ''Show Me the Money 8'' in 2019. His debut single, "Why Are You So Noisy", was met with critical acclaim. In 2020, he appeared on ''Show Me the Money 9'' and finished in second place. ''The King of Mask Singer'' () is a South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, with introductions by voice actor . It airs on MBC on Sunday, starting from April 5, 2015 as a part of MBC's '' Sunday Night'' programming block. Format Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds.
