Miranda Easten
Miranda Easten is a country music singer-songwriter from New Zealand. Easten was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her first experience with singing and performing was at Christchurch School of Music before studying Contemporary Music & Performance at Ara Institute of Canterbury Music Arts in Christchurch. She also studied Artist & Development at SOLE Music Academy in Christchurch suburb of Addington, where she was mentored by Sacha Vee. In 2014, Easten formed the band The Manuka Set with New Zealand singer-songwriter Vanessa Kelly. The Christchurch School of Music (CSM) is a music school in Christchurch, New Zealand. The school was founded in 1955 by Robert Perks to provide musical education to primary school children. about CSM The CSM now provides lessons for people of all ages, and for a large range of orchestral instruments. The CSM features several orchestras, concert bands, and other instrumental groups, and performs a Showcase Concert each year in which all CSM students participate. Ara Institute Of Canterbury
Ara Institute of Canterbury, often simply referred to as Ara, is an institute of technology in Canterbury, New Zealand. It was formed in 2016 from the merger of Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT) and Aoraki Polytechnic. Ara specialises in applied tertiary training. Addington is a major suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is sited south-west of the city centre. As an inner city suburb, Addington has a mix of residential, retail and light industrial properties. History 19th century For the first decade after the founding of Christchurch in 1850, Addington was farmland, consisting of large rural sections. In the early 1860s, the railway was surveyed through the area and subdivision of the larger sections began. Neil Finn
Neil Mullane Finn (born 27 May 1958) is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and musician who is known for being a member of Crowded House, Split Enz (which he co-fronted with brother Tim), and Fleetwood Mac. Finn rose to prominence in the late 1970s with Split Enz and wrote many of the band's most successful songs, including " One Step Ahead", "History Never Repeats", " I Got You", and "Message to My Girl". After Split Enz broke up in 1984, Finn founded Crowded House with Split Enz's final drummer Paul Hester in 1985 and served as the band's lead singer. The group achieved international success in 1987 when they released the single "Don't Dream It's Over", written by Finn. Roundhead Studios is an Auckland-based sound recording studio owned by singer-songwriter Neil Finn. It was officially opened in June 2007, however by the time of its opening, several international artists had already used it whilst the studio was either in construction or receiving finishing touches. Greg Haver is a Welsh music producer, based in New Zealand. He is best known for his work with the Manic Street Preachers and Melanie C. He has worked on a number of award-winning singles and albums. With the Manic Street Preachers, he was involved in production for numerous gold and platinum accredited albums. ''This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours, Send Away the Tigers'' and '' Know Your Enemy'' albums received gold accreditations in the UK. He also worked on Melanie C's album ''Beautiful Intentions''. Greg Johnson (born 7 January 1968) is a New Zealand singer songwriter. Music career Johnson was born in Auckland, New Zealand. Starting out in school orchestras and choirs, Johnson quickly graduated to the early New Wave scene playing in bands from age 15 at many of the infamous live venues that scattered NZ and post punk years, including Mainstreet Cabaret, the Reverb Room, The Windsor Castle and The Esplanade Hotel.
