Mira Lobe
Mira Lobe ( he, מירה לובה, born Hilde Mirjam Rosenthal; September 17, 1913, in Görlitz, Silesia – February 6, 1995, in Vienna) was an Austrian writer of more than 100 Children's literature, children's books. Some of her books were translated into English and other languages, such as ''Es ging ein Schneemann durch das Land'', which became ''The Snowman Who Went for a Walk'' in English. Görlitz (; pl, Zgorzelec, hsb, Zhorjelc, cz, Zhořelec, :de:Ostlausitzer Mundart, East Lusatian dialect: ''Gerlz'', ''Gerltz'', ''Gerltsch'') is a town in the Germany, German state of Saxony. It is located on the Lusatian Neisse River, and is the largest town in Upper Lusatia as well as the second-largest town in the region of Lusatia, after Cottbus.
