Minoo Akhtarzand
Minoo Hilda Akhtarzand ( fa, مینو اختر زند; born December 1, 1956 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian-Swedish civil servant who was Governor of Jönköping County from 2010 to 2016 and is currently Governor of Västmanland County since 2016. Minoo Akhtarzand was born and raised in Tehran. Her father was a high-ranking officer in the Shah's army. At the age of 17 she moved to Stockholm to study at the Royal Institute of Technology. Later she held various managerial posts at the Swedish energy company Vattenfall and was the director of the former regional labour agency in Uppsala. In February 2008 she was appointed Director-General at Banverket, the Swedish Rail Administration. She was elected a Vice-President of European Rail Infrastructure Managers in June 2009. She became the last Director-General of Banverket as that government agency merged with the Swedish Road Administration (Vägverket) in 2010 to create the new Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). Minoo Ahtarzand 2013
is a city in northwestern Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Its name is commonly romanized as "Minō" or "Minoo"; however, the city government officially uses the spelling Minoh in English. As of October 2016, the city has an estimated population of 134,435 and a population density of 2,800 persons per km². Its total area is . History The city was incorporated on 1 December 1956. Håkan is a common Swedish given name. It has a common origin with the Norwegian given name Haakon (modern Norwegian Håkon, Danish Hakon) in the Old Norse ''Hákon''. Lars Engqvist (born 13 August 1945) is a Swedish politician. He served as chairman of the youth organization of the Swedish Social Democrats from 1972 to 1978, and then worked as a journalist. He was the editor-in-chief of '' Arbetet'', a Malmö-based newspaper. In the early 1990s he was the mayor of Malmö, and then president of the Swedish Film Institute before receiving his first government appointment in 1998.
