Minnie Crozier
Minnie Crozier is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street'', who was portrayed by Katrina Devine from her first appearance in 1994 as part of the Crozier family unit until 2001 when the character was axed as part of a large cast overhaul. Creation and casting Katrina Devine was cast in the role at the age of 14 and never imagined just how central Minnie would become in following years. After appearing on the show for 6 years, it was announced in 2000 the character was axed and would be making her last appearance in early 2001. The cause was later revealed as a show revamp which would see the tone more suited towards working class characters. ''Shortland Street'' is a New Zealand prime-time soap opera centring on the fictitious Shortland Street Hospital, first broadcast on TVNZ 2 on 25 May 1992. NZ On Air (NZOA; mi, Irirangi te Motu), formally the Broadcasting Commission, is an autonomous Crown entity and commission of the New Zealand Government responsible for funding support for broadcasting and creative works. Sef Kruse Sef Kruse was Vinnie's (Pua Magasiva) womanizing cousin. Antony Starr (born 25 October 1975) is a New Zealand actor, known for his television roles. He played the dual roles of Jethro and Van West on '' Outrageous Fortune'' (2005–10), Lucas Hood on ''Banshee'' (2013–16), and Homelander on '' The Boys'' (2019–present). Claire Chitham (born 12 July 1978, in Auckland) is a New Zealand television actress. Claire rose to fame as Waverley Harrison (née Wilson) in the New Zealand TV show ''Shortland Street'', from 1994–1995 and 1997–2005 and Aurora Bay in '' Outrageous Fortune'' from 2006–2007. Karl Burnett (born 27 February 1976) is a New Zealand actor best known for his portrayal of Nick Harrison on the long-running New Zealand soap opera, ''Shortland Street''. Burnett was 16 years old when offered the role of Nick Harrison on ''Shortland Street'' in 1992. The then Massey High School student had little acting experience, other than high-school drama classes, though after six years of starring on Shortland Street he had a part in the 1998 film ''When Love Comes''. He played the role of Nick Harrison from the show's second episode in 1992 until the character's departure in 2005, making Nick Harrison the original character to stay with the show the longest. Nick Harrison was originally intended as a drug-taking rebel, but after Burnett was cast, the role was developed into a more comedic and clumsy character. Oscar Henry is a fictional character on the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street'' played by Christopher Brown from 1998 to 1999. Oscar debuted in mid-1998 as a love interest for Minnie Crozier (Katrina Devine). He was at first liked by the clinic staff but he was soon revealed to be possessive and overpowering. When Minnie broke up with him, he blackmailed her and raped her. The character starred in a hugely high-profile storyline that saw him steal $1,000,000 from the clinic and end up in a coma after an attempt on his life.
