The Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs, now called the ''Ministry of Business and Growth'', is a ministry that was established by the first Helle Thorning-Schmidt cabinet. The ministry was created in 2001 as a merger between the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. After the 2011 election the ministry was divided into two; Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Interior and Ministry of Business and Growth. Ministry (collective Executive)
In constitutional usage in Commonwealth realms, a ministry (usually preceded by the definite article, i.e., the ministry) is a collective body of government ministers led by a head of government, such as a prime minister. It is described by Oxford Dictionaries as "a period of government under one prime minister". Although the term "cabinet" can in some circumstances be a synonym, a ministry can be a broader concept which might include office-holders who do not participate in cabinet meetings. Anne Birgitte Lundholt
Anne Birigitte Lundholt (born 11 June 1952) is a member of the Danish Conservative People's Party and businessperson who served in the Danish Government and the Folketing. She was deputy director of the industry organization Textile Industry from 1980 to 1988, deputy chair of the Junior Chamber Denmark between 1983 and 1984 and CEO later chair of the Furniture Manufacturers Association (later the Danish Furniture Industry) in 1988. Morten Bødskov
Morten Bødskov (born 1 May 1970 in Karup) is a Danish Social Democratic politician, and member of the Folketing, currently serving as the Minister for Business since 2022.
