Ministry of Legal Affairs ( my, ဥပဒေရေးရာဝန်ကြီးဌာန) serves as the Government of Myanmar's main legal advisory body. The Office is led by the Union Minister Thida Oo who is also serves as Attorney General. After the caretaker government was formed in 2021, the Union Attorney General's Office was reorganized into a ministry on 30 August 2021. Thida Oo
Thida Oo ( my, သီတာဦး, also spelt Thidar Oo; born 27 November 1964 in Rangoon, Burma) is the incumbent Minister of Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General of Myanmar. She was appointed by the Burmese military on 2 February 2021. Before accepting the appointment, she served as the Office of the Attorney-General's permanent secretary. The Union Attorney General ( my, ပြည်ထောင်စုရှေ့နေချုပ်) is the Government of Myanmar's chief legal advisor, and also appears on behalf of the Burmese government in civil and criminal cases. The current Attorney General is Thida Oo who is also serves as Union Minister for Legal Affairs. The caretaker government of Myanmar ( my, အိမ်စောင့်အစိုးရ), officially the Provisional Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar ( my, ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော် အိမ်စောင့်အစိုးရ), is the executive body under the current military junta of Myanmar, the State Administration Council. Myint Swe ( my, မြင့်ဆွေ, ; born 24 May 1951) is a Burmese politician currently serving as Acting President of Myanmar as well as Vice-President of Myanmar, First Vice President. He previously served as the acting president after the resignation of President Htin Kyaw on 21 March 2018, and the chief minister of Yangon Region from 30 March 2011 to 30 March 2016.
