Sonomyn Luvsan
Sonomyn Luvsan ( mn, Сономын Лувсан; 1912–1994) was a prominent Mongolian politician and diplomat who was acting Chairman of the Presidium of the People's Great Khural of the Mongolian People's Republic or MPR (titular head of state) from June 29, 1972 to June 11, 1974. Career Luvsan was Minister of Finance from 1940 to 1941. During World War II Luvsan served as deputy prime minister under Khorloogiin Choibalsan. On February 21, 1949, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers as well as Minister of Trade. From 1957 to 1959 he served as Ambassador to the People's Republic of China. On June 17, 1959, he once again became Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers (deputy prime minister) before being appointed Ambassador to the USSR 1960 to 1964. Baabar (; born Bat-Erdeniin Batbayar [] in Tsetserleg (city), Tsetserleg, Arkhangai, in 1954) is a Mongolian retired politician, political analyst and writer. Puntsagiin Tsagaan
Tsagaan Puntsag (Mongolian language, Mongolian: Пунцагийн Цагаан; also referred to as Puntsagiin Tsagaan; born 4 April 1959) is a Mongolian entrepreneur, international lawyer, economist, philanthropist, and a former politician. He served as the Minister of Ministry of Education and Science (Mongolia), Education, Culture, and Science of Mongolia from 2004 to 2006, and chairman of the board of Economic Policy and Competitiveness Research Center since 2010. Molom Tsend
МOLOM Tsendiin ( Mongolian: Цэндийн Молом; August 15, 1932 - November 10, 2020) – Mongolian statesman, distinguished economist, member of Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, member of State Great Khural (1969-1983), Minister of Finance (1969-1979) and Vice Prime Minister (1979-1983) of MPR. Biography Ts. Molom was born in Davst Soum, Uvs Aimag in the family of herdsman, Bor-Khulgana and his wife, Tsend. In elementary school the boy's surname was recorded under his mother's first name. Dumaagiin Sodnom
Dumaagiin Sodnom ( mn, Думаагийн Содном; born 14 July 1933) is a Mongolian political figure who served as Prime Minister of Mongolia from 1984 to 1990. Biography Sodnom was born in the Örgön District of Dornogovi Province on 14 July 1933. He first attended school in the Bayanmönkh district of Khentii Province and then went on to study at the Finance and Economic Technical College in Ulaanbaatar from 1946–1950. He worked as an accountant at the Ministry of Finance for four years and joined the MPRP in 1954 before studying economics at the Higher School of Finance and Economics in Irkutsk from 1954 to 1958. Sodnom then went on to work his way up through the Finance Ministry until becoming Minister of Finance in 1963, a position he held until 1969.
