Ministry Of Economy (Poland)
Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Poland ( pl, Ministerstwo Gospodarki) was a ministry dealing with economy of Republic of Poland. Created in 1997 from reforms and mergers of other ministries, it has gone through several name changes and has recently been downsized, with issues related to work being split to Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and regional issues split to Ministry of Regional Development. In 2007 the bureau of tourism was moved to Ministry of Sport. The last minister was Janusz Piechociński. In late 2015 it was merged into the new Ministry of Development. Three Crosses Square
Three Crosses Square ( pl, Plac Trzech Krzyży, , also "Square of Three Crosses", "Three Cross Square", and "Triple Cross Square") is an important square in the central district of Warsaw, Poland. It lies on that city's Royal Route and links Nowy Świat (New World) Street, to the north, with Ujazdów Avenue to the south. Much of the square's area is devoted to a major thoroughfare. History Until the 18th century, the area now occupied by the square was little more than sparsely-populated open terrain south of the then-city limits of Warsaw. During the reign of King Augustus II the Strong, between 1724 and 1731, a "road to Calvary" ( Stations of the Cross) was created, with the first station being located near the present square, and the last station next to Ujazdów Castle to the south. Jerzy Buzek
Jerzy Karol Buzek (born 3 July 1940) is a Polish politician and Member of the European Parliament from Poland. He has served as Prime Minister of Poland from 1997 to 2001, since being elected to the European Parliament in 2004, he served as President of the European Parliament between 2009 and 2012. He is married to Ludgarda Buzek and is the father of Polish actress Agata Buzek. Piotr Grzegorz Woźniak (born 13 February 1956 in Warsaw) is a Polish public servant and geologist.
