The Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan ( tk, Türkmenistanyň medeniýet ministrligi) is a governmental body of Turkmenistan. Its mission is to formulate and implement state cultural policies supporting professional and amateur art, theatre, music, fine arts, cinema, museums, libraries, and written publications, to guard copyright and copyright-related interests, and to protect cultural values. The State Academy of arts of Turkmenistan (Türkmenistanyň Döwlet çeperçilik akademiýasy) in Ashgabat, was founded in 1994 by President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov. Turkmen State Circus
The Turkmen State Circus ( tk, Türkmenistanyň Döwlet Sirki/Түркменистаның Дөвлет Сирки) is the main arena circus of Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan. It has a seating capacity of 1,700 seats. Is administered by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting of Turkmenistan. History The circus was built from 1979–1984. In 2001, President Saparmurat Niyazov abolished all circuses in the country. In 2008, the new President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov lifted the ban on circus. By presidential decree, the State Circus of Turkmenistan was established, operating in the Soviet era building constructed. Reconstruction of an old two-story building of the Turkmen State Circus was started in June 2008 by the Turkish company "EFOR". The cost of reconstruction was $17.9 million. Ashgabat
Ashgabat or Asgabat ( tk, Aşgabat, ; fa, عشق‌آباد, translit='Ešqābād, formerly named Poltoratsk ( rus, Полтора́цк, p=pəltɐˈratsk) between 1919 and 1927), is the capital and the largest city of Turkmenistan. It lies between the Karakum Desert and the Kopetdag mountain range in Central Asia, near the Iran-Turkmenistan border. The city was founded in 1881 on the basis of an Ahal Teke tribal village, and made the capital of the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic in 1924. Gözel Myradowna Nuralyýewa (born 1954) is a Turkmen politician and journalist. Biography Gözel Myradowna Nuralyýewa was born in 1954 in the village of Homaý of the Boldumsaz District of the Daşoguz Province. Nuralyýewa graduated from the Turkmen State University, majoring in Russian language and literature. She began her career in 1977 as a teacher at secondary school No.5 of Dänew District.
