Ministry Of Autonomy
The Ministry of Autonomy is a Government of Bolivia, Bolivian government Ministry (government department), ministry which oversees the distribution of powers among regional bodies, including departments, municipalities, autonomous regions, and autonomous indigenous peoples, indigenous governments in Native Community Lands and indigenous municipalities. Through its Vice-Ministry of Territorial Organization, it is also responsible for delimiting boundaries between Bolivia's constituent territorial units. The Ministry was formed through Supreme Decree 29894, issued by President Evo Morales on 7 February 2009. On 23 January 2017, the ministry was dissolved and on 26 January the new Vice Ministry of Autonomy was established as part of the Ministry of the Presidency (Bolivia), Ministry of the Presidency. La Paz (), officially known as Nuestra Señora de La Paz (Spanish pronunciation: ), is the seat of government of the Bolivia, Plurinational State of Bolivia. The politics of Bolivia takes place in a tree of a presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the president is head of state, head of government and head of a diverse multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two chambers of parliament. Both the Judiciary and the electoral branch are independent of the executive and the legislature. After the 2015 election, 53.3% of the seats in national parliament were held by women, a higher proportion of women than that of the population. Indigenous peoples are culturally distinct ethnic groups whose members are directly descended from the earliest known inhabitants of a particular geographic region and, to some extent, maintain the language and culture of those original peoples. Juan Evo Morales Ayma (; born 26 October 1959) is a Bolivian politician, trade union organizer, and former cocalero activist who served as the 65th president of Bolivia from 2006 to 2019. The Ministry of the Presidency is the department of the Government of Bolivia that provides support to the presidential administration by coordinating its political-administrative actions with the different ministries as well as the legislative, judicial, and electoral branches of government in addition to social sectors and cooperatives. Aside from these tasks, the ministry acts as the chief custodian of the government, filing all laws, decrees, and resolutions and publishing them in the Official Gazette of Bolivia. Established on 6 August 1989 by Presidential Decree N° 22292 issued by President Jaime Paz Zamora, the office was previously known as the General Secretariat of the Presidency.
