Éamon Ó CuÃv (; born 23 June 1950) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency since the 1992 general election. He previously served as Deputy Leader of Fianna Fáil from 2011 to 2012, as Minister for Social Protection from 2010 to 2011, Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs from 2002 to 2010, and as a Minister of State from 1997 to 2002. Donal Carey (born 15 October 1937) is an Irish former Fine Gael politician who served as Minister of State for the Gaeltacht and the Islands from 1995 to 1997. The 1992 general election was held on 25 November 1992. The 23rd Government of Ireland (12 January 1993 – 15 December 1994), the first government of the 27th Dáil, was a coalition of Fianna Fáil (with leader Albert Reynolds as Taoiseach) and the Labour Party, with leader Dick Spring as Tánaiste. The Government of the 25th Dáil or the 20th Government of Ireland (10 March 1987 – 12 July 1989) was the government of Ireland formed after the 1987 general election on 17 February 1987.
