Minister For Mental Health (New South Wales)
The Minister for Mental Health is a minister in the New South Wales Government with responsibility for hospitals and health services in regional New South Wales, Australia. It was first established in 2005 in the First Iemma ministry as an assistant minister, before becoming a separate portfolio in 2011 in the O'Farrell ministry. The portfolio was not tasked with the management of a department. In the second Perrottet ministry since December 2021 it is one of four portfolios in the health sector working with the Minister for Health, Brad Hazzard. The current minister Bronnie Taylor also holds the portfolio of regional health. The fourth portfolio, regional youth is currently held by Ben Franklin. Together they administer the health portfolio through the Health cluster, including the Ministry of Health and a range of other government agencies, including local health districts and the NSW Ambulance service. Bronnie Taylor
Bronwyn Taylor (known as Bronnie Taylor), an Australian politician, is the New South Wales Minister for Women, the Minister for Regional Health, and the Minister for Mental Health in the Perrottet ministry, since December 2021. Taylor has served as the Deputy Leader of the National Party in New South Wales since October 2021. She has been a Member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 2015, representing The Nationals. List Of New South Wales Government Agencies
The executive branch of the Government of New South Wales, Australia, is made up of a number of departments, state-owned corporations and other agencies. These are identified in the ''Government Sector Employment Act 2013'' and other legislation. In 2009, most State government agencies – which at the time numbered more than 100 – were restructured into 13 'super agencies' or clusters. This number was subsequently reduced to ten clusters in 2013; and in July 2019 following the 2019 state election, it was further reduced to eight clusters. Rees Ministry
The Rees ministry was the 91st ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by the 41st Premier Nathan Rees. The Rees Labor ministry was formed following the resignation of Premier Morris Iemma on 5 September 2008 and the unanimous election of Rees as Leader of the Labor caucus and Carmel Tebbutt as Deputy Leader. The Iemma ministry (2005–2007) or First Iemma ministry is the 89th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by the 40th Premier Morris Iemma. It was the first of two occasions when Iemma was Premier. The 1st Iemma Labor ministry was formed following the shock retirement of Bob Carr as Premier after Carr had the longest continuous service as Premier, from 1995 until 2005. Iemma succeeded Carr after a bitter inter-factional battle against Carl Scully who withdrew from the caucus contest after Iemma received backing from Labor's head office and powerbrokers in the dominant NSW Right of the Labor Party. The Second Perrottet ministry or Second Perrottet–Toole ministry is the 99th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and is led by Dominic Perrottet, the state's 46th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed on 21 December 2021 from a reshuffle, the first time since Perrottet and Paul Toole were elected as Liberal Party leader and National Party leader respectively in October 2021. The Parliament of New South Wales considers the reshuffled ministry to be a separate and new ministry from the previous Perrottet ministry before the reshuffle. The First Perrottet ministry or First Perrottet–Toole ministry is the 98th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and is led by Dominic Perrottet, the state's 46th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the resignation of the previous Premier, Gladys Berejiklian and the election of Perrottet as leader of the Liberal Party on 5 October 2021. Stuart Ayres was elected as deputy party leader. Separate to the Liberal Party leadership election, the National Party also had its own leadership election on 6 October 2021, following the resignation of John Barilaro as party leader, who said it was "the right time for me to hand the reins over". The Second Berejiklian ministry was the 97th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. It was the second and subsequent of two occasions that Berejiklian served as Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed following the 2019 state election where the Berejikilian government was re-elected. The ministry was sworn in by the Governor David Hurley on 2 April 2019. On 1 October 2021, Berejiklian announced that she would be resigning from the post as well as from the Parliament. Minister For Women (New South Wales)
The Minister for Women is a minister in the New South Wales Government with responsibility for women's issues in New South Wales, Australia. There had been a Women’s Co-ordination Unit and a Women’s Advisory Council since at least 1977 for which the Premier and later the Minister for Family and Community Services had been responsible. In 1993 in the third Fahey ministry these functions were brought together in a portfolio aimed at changing the portrayal of women, improving their status at home, at work and in the community, and reducing violence against women. From the first Carr ministry it was renamed Minister for Women. A separate portfolio of Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault was created in the second Baird ministry. The First Berejiklian ministry was the 96th ministry of the Government of New South Wales, and was led by Gladys Berejiklian, the state's 45th Premier. The Liberal–National coalition ministry was formed on 23 January 2017, immediately following the resignation of the previous Premier, Mike Baird. Berejiklian and Nationals leader, John Barilaro, were sworn in at Government House, Sydney by Governor David Hurley on the same day. On 29 January, Premier Berejiklian announced a reorganisation of the ministry, with the full ministry sworn in by the Governor on 30 January 2017.
