Minister For Local Government (New South Wales)
The Minister for Local Government is a minister in the New South Wales Government and has responsibilities which includes all local government areas and related legislation in New South Wales, the most primary of which is the ''Local Government Act 1993''. The minister administers the portfolio through the Planning and Environment cluster, in particular through the Department of Planning and Environment, the Office of Local Government, and a range of other government agencies. The Minister for Local Government is Wendy Tuckerman, since 21 December 2021. The minister works within the cluster, and assists the senior cluster minister, the Minister for Planning, currently Anthony Roberts, also since 21 December 2021. Wendy Tuckerman
Wendy Margaret Tuckerman (; born 5 October 1964) is an Australian politician. She has been a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 2019, representing Goulburn for the Liberal Party. She was formerly an unsuccessful candidate for National Party preselection for the 2017 Cootamundra state by-election. Tuckerman has served as the Minister for Local Government in the Perrottet ministry since December 2021. The Municipality of Leichhardt was a local government area in the inner-west region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is about west of the Sydney central business district. The Mid-Western Regional Council is a local government area in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is located adjacent to the Castlereagh Highway that passes through the middle of the area in an approximate southeast–northwest direction. Mid-Western Regional Council was proclaimed on 26 May 2004 and incorporates the whole of the former Mudgee Shire Council and parts of the former Merriwa and Rylstone Shires.
