The minister is the labour minister of Denmark and is the political head of the Ministry of Employment of Denmark. Mette Frederiksen (; born 19 November 1977) is a Danish politician who has been Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2019, and Leader of the Social Democrats since June 2015. The second woman to hold either office, she is also the youngest prime minister in Danish history. Grethe Fenger Møller (born 6 November 1941) is a Danish Conservative People's Party politician and lawyer who was elected to the Folketing as a representative of the constituency from 1977 to 1994 and was the Minister of Labour in the first government of Poul Schlüter between 1982 and 1986. Svend Auken
Svend Gunnarsen Auken (; 24 May 1943 – 4 August 2009) was a Danish politician. He represented the Social Democrats as a member of the Danish parliament (Folketinget) from 1971 until his death.
