Ming Pao (Toronto)
''Ming Pao Daily News'' ( zh, c=明報, p=Míng Bào), or ''Ming Pao'' for short, is a Chinese language newspaper in Canada owned by the Ming Pao Group of Hong Kong. Ming Pao in Canada has two editions. The Eastern edition (加東版 Pinyin: Jiā Dōng Bǎn) published in Toronto, Ontario was launched in May 1993 by then Chairman P.H. Yu, and competed in the local Chinese community with ''Sing Tao Daily (Canada), Sing Tao Daily'' and ''World Journal''. The Toronto editorial offices are located in Agincourt, Toronto, Agincourt. ''Today Daily News'' () was a Chinese language newspaper in Canada, launched on November 1, 2005. It was published by Today Daily News International in Scarborough. It was called the Canada Eastern Edition (加東版 Pinyin: jiā dōng bǎn) even though it was the only edition published at the moment. The paper was published 7 days a week in traditional Chinese in the broadsheet format. News coverage includes headline news, news at the metro and national levels, news from Greater China, Chinese community news, international news, entertainment, financial news, sports, and supplements. The paper did not own its own printing press; printing is being contracted out to a printer. Compared with the other three main Chinese newspapers, the reporting style of ''Today Daily News'' was relatively sensationalist. ''Yazhou Zhoukan'' () is a Chinese-language international affairs newsweekly. It was launched in 1987 by Michael O'Niell as a sister magazine to ''Asiaweek''. It is published by Yanzhou Zhoukan Limited (a subsidiary of Media Chinese International Limited), and provides international political, economic and cultural news.
