	Minervén S.C. Minervén Sport Club, formerly Minervén Bolívar Fútbol Club, usually known as Minervén, is a Venezuelan football club. History The club was founded on January 15, 1985, in Puerto Ordaz. In 2004 were replaced by Club Deportivo Iberoamericano. On July 27, 2007 they changed the name again to Minervén Bolívar Fútbol Club. The ran into financial trouble and changed their name to Minervén Sport Club, after re-starting from the lowest professional division in 2015. Stadium The club plays their home matches at Estadio Hector Thomas, in the city of El Callao, which has a maximum capacity of 5,000 people. In the golden era of the club, the high profile games or those in continental competitions, where played at Polideportivo Cachamay in Ciudad Guayana. The later is shared with Mineros de Guayana, another football club of Bolívar state, and Minerven's biggest rival. 	Copa CONMEBOL The Copa CONMEBOL ( en, CONMEBOL Cup) was an annual football cup competition organized by CONMEBOL between 1992 and 1999 for South American football clubs. During its time of existence, it was a very prestigious South American club football contest, similar to the UEFA Cup. Clubs qualified for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. Teams that were not able to qualify for the Copa Libertadores would play in this tournament. The tournament was played as a knockout cup. The tournament ended in 1999, following the expansion of the Copa Libertadores to 32 teams. 	Mineros De Guayana Asociación Civil Club Deportivo Mineros de Guayana, known as Mineros de Guayana or simply Mineros, is a professional football club based in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. History The Colegio Loyola Gumilla's field, located in Puerto Ordaz, was used in football matches. The people who played at the field decided to found a football club. On November 11, 1981, the club was founded as Club Deportivo Mineros de Guayana. On November 20, 1981, the club's foundation constitutive act was signed. On January 3, 1982, the club played its first match, against Villa Colombia FC, a Guayana's amateur club. Mineros won 2-0, both goals scored by José Pacheco.
