Mineralovodsky Urban Okrug (russian: Минералово́дский городско́й о́круг) is a municipal formation (an urban okrug) in Stavropol Krai, Russia,Law #88-kz one of the nine urban okrugs in the krai. Mineralnye Vody (Min-Vody) ( rus, Минеральные Воды (Мин-Воды), p=mʲɪnʲɪˈralʲnɨjə ˈvodɨ, mʲɪn ˈvodɨ; lit. ''mineral waters'') is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, town in Stavropol Krai, Russia, located along the Kuma River (Russia), Kuma River and the main rail line between Rostov-on-Don in Russia and Baku in Azerbaijan. Population: History The town owes its birth to the construction of the North Caucasus Railway, Rostov-Vladikavkaz Railway, the construction of which was completed in 1875.
