Minami Takahashi
is a Japanese idol, singer, tarento and a former member of the Japanese girl idol group AKB48. She is in Team A of AKB48. She became the first of AKB48 and its sister groups. In an interview with Nippon Television in June 2010, AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto says she is the "eldest daughter of the 48 sisters". She is also regarded as "soul of AKB", and her motto "Making efforts will be paid" has inspired many members of AKB48. She is commonly part of the main lineup of AKB48 singles. She was a member of the AKB48 sub-group no3b, alongside fellow AKB48 graduates Minami Minegishi and Haruna Kojima. She has a business alliance with Mama&Son Inc. Yokohama Arena
is an indoor arena located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 17,000 and was opened in 1989. The arena was modeled after US sports venue Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is a five-minute walk from the closest station, Shin-Yokohama Station on the JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway. As one of the largest concert venues in the Kantō region, it is a frequent location for artists to end their tours. The spacious stage allows for more complex set design and lighting, but the reasonable size makes it easier to sell out than the Tokyo Dome. History The Yokohama Arena was opened on April 1, 1989. Yokohama Stadium
is a baseball stadium in Naka-ku, Yokohama, Japan. It opened in 1978 and has a capacity of 34,046 people. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. The stadium features dirt around the bases and pitcher's mound, but with dirt colored turf infield and base paths. The entire green portion of the field is also turfed. It hosted an Australian rules football match and drew the second largest crowd for such an event outside of Australia. Concerts Santana and Masayoshi Takanaka performed at the stadium on August 2, 1981. Anzen Chitai performed at the stadium on August 31, 1985. "Jane Doe" is the title of the debut single recorded by Minami Takahashi. It was released on April 3, 2013. The A-side is used as theme song for the Japanese drama Saki. The single was released in four versions, three CD Maxi+DVD editions and a limited theater edition. The song is a rock ballad written from a male perspective, depicted as being in a relationship he can't resist falling in love with one woman even after being disrespected, deceived by her and finally losing everything.
