Mina Popović
Mina Popović ( sr-cyr, Мина Поповић; born 16 September 1994) is a Serbian volleyball player. Club career On club level, Popović ha played for OK Crvena Zvezda, Obiettivo Risarcimento, Volley Bergamo, Azzurra Volley San Casciano and Volleyball Casalmaggiore. With OK Crvena Zvezda she won two Serbian volleyball league titles (2012, 2013) and three Serbian volleyball cup titles (2012, 2013, 2014). Galatasaray She signed a 1-year contract with Galatasaray HDI Sigorta on August 17, 2022. Kraljevo
Kraljevo ( sr-cyr, Краљево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Raška District in central Serbia. It is situated on the confluence of West Morava and Ibar, in the geographical region of Šumadija, between the mountains of Kotlenik in the north, and Stolovi in the south. Volleyball At The 2015 European Games – Women's Tournament
The Women's tournament in volleyball at the 2015 European Games in Baku was the 1st edition of the event in a European Games. It was held at Baku Crystal Hall from 13 June to 27 June 2015. Qualification Pools composition Teams were seeded following the Serpentine system according to their European ranking as of January 1, 2015. Twelve qualified nations were drawn into two groups, each consisting of six teams. After a robin-round, the four highest-placed teams in each group advanced to a knock-out round to decide the medals. 2015 European Games
The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games ( az, Bakı 2015 Avropa Oyunları), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympic and 2 non-Olympic sports. Host selection Baku was awarded the right to host the first European Games at the 41st EOC General Assembly in Rome, on 8 December 2012. The 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 31st edition of the Women's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV from 23 August to 8 September 2019. The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The tournament was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia, and was held between 22 September and 1 October 2017. Serbia defeated Netherlands in the final to capture their second european title. Women's European Volleyball Championship
The Women's European Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Italy, which won its third title at the 2021 tournament. History The first tournament was held in 1949 with participation of seven national teams. It was dominated by teams from Eastern Europe, who at that times were strongest teams not only at the European continent but also in the whole world. The teams from Eastern Europe dominated at the tournament for next four and half decades. The first European title was won by Soviet Union, who also won two next editions – in 1950 and 1951.
