Italian singer Mina has released seventy-five studio albums, three live albums, forty-five official compilation albums, six video albums and seventeen extended plays. During her career, Mina has sold more than 150 million copies of her recordings worldwide. Mina made her debut on the music scene in the late fifties of the twentieth century. In 1959, her first recordings were released on the Italdisc label, and in 1960 her debut album ''Tintarella di luna'' was composed, which was a great success with the public. Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an Feminism, emancipated woman. In performance, Mina combined several modern styles with traditional Italian melodies and swing music, which made her the most versatile pop singer in Music of Italy, Italian music. Mina dominated the country's charts for 15 years and reached an unsurpassed level of popularity. She has scored Mina discography, 79 albums and 71 singles on the Italian charts. Mina's TV appearances in 1959 were the first for a female rock and roll singer in Italy. Her loud syncopated singing earned her the nickname "Queen of Screamers". The public also labeled her the "Tigress of Cremona" for h ...

Cinquemilaquarantatre
''Cinquemilaquarantatre'' is an album released in June 1972 by Italian singer Mina. Its title (in english, "Five Thousand and Forty Three") is a reference to the catalog number of the disc (PDU PLD 5043). Disc Packaging The album in its original vinyl release came in green, red, blue, purple, and brown versions of the cover made with three separate inserts that, when closed, would form the image of the cover. For the later digital reprint and online distribution, a simple green rendition was chosen. Cassette (PMA 543) and stereo versions (P8A 300843) used further colourings not used for the original vinyl. The Spanish edition (Odean J 064-93.937) has a completely different cover. Chart Performance Mina's self titled album, Mina having released the year before, was still number 1 on Italian charts as Cinquemilaquarantatre released. The album continued to be best selling for 8 weeks, and remained in the top 5 until December 1972 totalling over 700,000 copies. Track listing ...
