Milton High School (Milton, Florida)
Milton High School (MHS) is a public four-year high school located in Milton, Florida. Milton High School was established in 1915 making it the oldest school in Santa Rosa County. The original campus was built on Canal Street in Milton, FL and held classes there until it moved to its current location on Stewart Street in 1953. The original building is now the home to the Santa Rosa County School Board offices. MHS enrolls over 1,800 students, grades nine through twelve. Milton High has had several principals over its more than 100 years of existence. Most recently Don Lewis Lynn, Jr. was principal from 1999 to the 2006-07 school year, until taking an Assistant Superintendent position at the county level. Randy Allen (basketball)
James Randall "Randy" Allen (born January 26, 1965) is an American former professional basketball player. A forward from Florida State University, Allen was never drafted by an NBA team but did manage to play two years in the league from 1988 to 1990 with the Sacramento Kings. On October 1, 1990 Allen signed a two-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, but was released after the hiring of head coach Paul Westhead. He was then signed by the Chicago Bulls on October 7, 1993 but was placed on waivers 10 days after signing. In his NBA career, Allen played in 70 games and scored a total of 252 points. Cortland Temujin Finnegan (born February 2, 1984) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Samford, and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Lawrence James Henry Tynes (born May 3, 1978) is a Scottish-born former American football placekicker. After playing soccer for Milton High School a coach suggested he try out for the football team as a kicker. He played college football at Troy and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2001. He spent two seasons on the practice squad in Kansas City, then played in NFL Europe and in the Canadian Football League. He came back to Kansas City and played for the Chiefs for three seasons, and was then traded to the Giants in 2007. Thomas Brent "Boo" Weekley (born July 23, 1973) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Overview Born in Milton, Florida, Weekley turned professional in 1997 and played on mini-tours until 2002, when he qualified for the PGA Tour. He made the cut in only five of 24 events that year, and lost his tour card. From 2003 through 2006, he played on the Nationwide Tour, finishing well enough in 2006 to again qualify for the PGA Tour. Heath Slocum
Tyler Heath Slocum (born February 3, 1974) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Early years Slocum was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School in Bunkie, Louisiana from 1986 (6th grade) until 1987 (8th grade). Slocum learned the game of golf from his father, Jack.
