Miloš Nikić
Miloš Nikić ( sr-cyrl, Милош Никић born 31 March 1986 in Cetinje, SR Montenegro, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian volleyball player (Wing-spiker). He was part of the Serbia and Montenegro men's national volleyball team at the 2006 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Japan. He was a member of the Serbian national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He plays for Italian club DHL Modena Volley. CEV Cup
The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. OK Budvanska Rivijera Budva was a professional volleyball team based in Budva, Montenegro, founded in 1978. It played in the Montenegrin Volleyball League. The club was dissolved in 2017. History The club was founded in 1978 as Avala Budva and took part in the 1982 regional championship of the Republic of Montenegro. From 1982 the team played in the second division of the SFR Yugoslavia. In 1991–92 the team finished in third place in the playoffs of the second division, but was still promoted due to the dissolution of the team Jugoslavija in the first division. 2006 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The 2006 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship was held in Japan from 17 November to 3 December 2006. Like the previous edition, 24 teams participated in the tournament. Brazil won the Tournament (retaining their championship title), defeating Poland 3:0 in the final match. Bulgaria placed 3rd, defeating Serbia and Montenegro 3:1 in the 3rd place match. The Polish team dedicated this achievement to the deceased Polish volleyball player Arkadiusz Gołaś. The team honored him at the award ceremony, when they wore T-shirts with the number 16 and the words "Golas". Host Finals hosts Japan. The tournament was held in six Japan cities.
