Annette Mills (born Edith Mabel Mills; 10 September 1894 – 10 January 1955) was an English actress, dancer, songwriter and television presenter, best known for presenting the children's television show ''Muffin the Mule''. Biography Early life She was born in Wandsworth, London, the daughter of teacher Lewis Mills and his wife Edith. She grew up in Belton, near Great Yarmouth, where her father became a headteacher, and studied in King's Lynn and Norwich before studying the piano and organ at the Royal Academy of Music. She intended becoming a concert pianist, but, after her fiancé was killed in action, she married, had a daughter, and worked as a dancing teacher in Notting Hill. Bob Mills (politician)
Robert (Bob) Mills (born July 28, 1941 in Young, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian former federal politician. Early life Mills was born in Young, Saskatchewan but moved at the age of twelve to Saskatoon. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Science and with an Education diploma. He then moved to Red Deer, Alberta and taught biology at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School in Red Deer until 1979. Political career In 1979 Mills ran for the Alberta Social Credit Party in the provincial election, but was defeated finishing a close second to Norman Magee. He ran for a second time in the 1982 provincial election as an Independent. He finished second in that race, losing to Jim McPherson. He then established a travel company and operated it until his election to the Parliament of Canada in the 1993 federal election for Red Deer as a member of the Reform Party of Canada. Robert Edward Mills (born 30 June 1957) is an English comedian and broadcaster, who has appeared in the television series ''In Bed with Medinner'' and ''The Show (British TV series), The Show''. Early life Mills was born in Chester and attended Queens Park High School, Chester City Grammar School. After a very short spell of training for the Merchant Navy (United Kingdom), Merchant Navy, he quit and worked as a valet in King's Cross, London and as a Hoffman dry cleaning presser operator, driver and delivery man. After seeing Kevin Day and Eddie Zibbin (Pat Condell) at the Market Tavern in Islington in 1983, he decided to become a comedian and was a mainstay for the British 'stand-up' circuit for several years.
