Amanda Milling
Amanda Anne Milling (born 12 March 1975) is a British politician serving as Member of Parliament (MP) for Cannock Chase since the 2015 general election. She served as Minister without Portfolio in the UK cabinet and, alongside Ben Elliot, as Co-Chairman of the Conservative Party from February 2020 to September 2021. She also served as Minister of State for Asia and the Middle East from September 2021 to September 2022. She previously worked in market research. Milling lives at Rugeley in her constituency. Early life and career Milling was born on 12 March 1975 in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England. Henry Milling
Lieutenant Colonel Henry Milling (died 30 December 1822) was a British Army officer who fought in the Napoleonic Wars. Biography Milling was commissioned a lieutenant in the 81st Regiment of Foot in 1801. He served with them in the Peninsular War and was severely wounded at the Battle of Corunna (16 January 1809). In 1815 Milling was present on the Waterloo Campaign with the 2/81st Foot, but did not fight at the Battle of Waterloo, instead the 2/81st Foot remind on garrison duty in Brussels guarding the British Army's pay chest. On 18 August 1819 Milling was promoted to lieutenant colonel. In 1822 Milling, from 81st Foot, was gazetted to the 93rd Foot, but retired a few months afterwards without having joined his new regiment. He died on 30 December 1822. Hugh Milling
Hugh Milling (4 September 1962 – 18 February 2003) was an Irish first-class cricketer. Milling was born at Carrickfergus and was educated at Marist College, Athlone, from there, he went up to Trinity College, Dublin. While studying in Dublin, he played club cricket for Dublin University and Phoenix. He made his debut for Ireland in a List A one-day game against Leicestershire at Leicester in the 1986 NatWest Trophy, taking 4/63 on debut with his fast-medium bowling. The following year he played in what would be his only match in first-class cricket, against Scotland at Coleraine. Batting twice during the match, Milling was dismissed in Ireland's first-innings for 2 runs by James Govan, while in their second-innings he ended unbeaten on 4 runs. With his hostile fast-medium bowling, he took six wickets in the match, claiming figures of 4/81 in Scotland's first-innings. Stephen Milling is a Danish operatic Bass (voice type), bass who has had an active international career since the mid-1990s. Although his repertoire encompasses a wide range, he is particularly known for his portrayals in the operas of Richard Wagner. Career Born 1965 in Copenhagen, Milling studied voice at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and has been a member of the Royal Danish Opera since 1994.
