Jessee/Miller Field
Jessee/Miller Field is a sports stadium located on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. It is the home field of the Trinity Bantams football team and the school's men's lacrosse team. The facility has a 400-meter track and a stadium seating capacity of 5,500. Named after Trinity's head football coaches Dan Jessee and Don Miller, it is the tenth-oldest college football field in United States. In recent years the field has also been affectionately referred to as The Coop, in reference to Trinity's mascot, the Bantam. The first game was played on September 13, 1900. The stadium, often referred to as Trinity Field, had no official name until November 5, 1966, when it was christened as Jessee Field for the retiring Jessee during his final season as head football coach. Les Miller Field
Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium is a baseball venue in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is home to the UIC Flames baseball team of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. The facility has a capacity of 1,000 spectators and is named for Les Miller, UIC head baseball coach from 1949–1979, and Curtis Granderson, an alumnus of the program. During Miller's tenure, the program won over 500 games. Granderson was named conference player of the year with the Flames in 2002 and later played in Major League Baseball. On 17 September 2013, UIC broke ground on a new stadium on the same site, funded in part by donations from Granderson. Miller Field was a baseball stadium in Owensboro, Kentucky. Miller Field's final tenant was the Owensboro Oilers of the Kentucky–Illinois–Tennessee League The Kentucky–Illinois–Tennessee League (or ''KITTY League'') was a Class D level minor league baseball circuit that went through six different periods of play between 1903 and 1955. The League hosted teams in 29 cities from the states of Ill ... (also called the KITty League), playing there from 1937 to 1955. Miller Field was considered the finest ballpark in the KITty League. Miller Field was situated at Triplett Avenue and East 18th Street in Owensboro. Home plate was oriented to the northeast. Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond is the home stadium for the Division I (NCAA) McNeese State Cowgirls softball team. Located on the campus of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the stadium has a 1,200 seating capacity. Seating consists of partially covered bleacher seating. The stadium has field lighting, bullpens, dugouts, and a press box. An indoor training facility, the "H.I.T" or ''House of Indoor Training'', located outside the right field fence, allows hitting practice in all weather conditions. Miller Field is a public airport a mile south of Valentine in Cherry County, Nebraska. Facilities Miller Field covers at an elevation of 2,595 feet (791 m). It has two runways: 14/32 is 4,704 by 75 feet (1,433 x 23 m) concrete and 3/21 is 3,701 by 60 feet (1,128 x 18 m) concrete. In the year ending June 24, 2020 the airport had 4,900 aircraft operations, average 94 per week: 81% general aviation, 19% air taxi and <1% military. For a year or two starting in 1959 it had airline flights-- Frontier DC-3s.

Aggie Memorial Stadium is an outdoor football stadium in the southwestern United States, located on the campus of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. It is the home field of the FBS independent New Mexico State Aggies. Opened in 1978, the current seating capacity is 28,853. Its artificial turf playing field is aligned north-northwest to south-southeast at an elevation of above sea level. It is the former home of Aggies women's soccer. Miller Field (Staten Island, New York)
Miller Field was a United States Army facility in the neighborhood of New Dorp, Staten Island, New York. It was founded in November 1919 and completed in 1921. Etymology Miller Field was named after Captain James Ely Miller (1883–1918), commanding officer of the 95th Aero Squadron in the Air Service of the AEF, who died in combat on March 9, 1918 over Rheims in World War I. He was the first United States aviator killed in action while serving with an American military aviation unit. Before World War I, Miller had been vice president of the Columbia Trust Company of New York and manager of its Fifth Avenue office, who trained at his own expense to earn his pilot's license and Reserve Military Aviator rating with the Governors Island Training Corps in 1916.
