Milka Marcília Medeiros Silva (born 18 July 1994) is a Brazilian people, Brazilian indoor volleyball player. She is a current member of the Brazil women's national volleyball team. Gameleira
Gameleira is a city in Pernambuco, Brazil. The name Gameleira is derived from the large number of Gameleira trees (family Moraceae) that were growing in the region. The city is 99 km away from Recife, the capital city of Pernambuco. Gameleira has a bus terminal, a public library, two state schools and several municipal schools. History The district of Gameleira was created by Provincial Law 763 (Lei Provincial n° 763), on July 11, 1867. It was then part of the municipality of Sirinhaém. In 1872, it became a village (Lei Provincial n° 1.057). In 1860, the established a station in Gameleira. Local sugarcane plantations used the railroad to transport sugar to the port in Recife. Osasco Voleibol Clube is a professional women's volleyball club, based in Osasco, São Paulo (state), Brazil. It includes volleyball teams for females of all ages, children through adult. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Osasco/São Cristóvão Saúde. History The club was founded in 1993, by the BCN bank, as BCN/Guarujá and changed headquarters' city in 1996, thereafter becoming known as BCN/Osasco. The club was renamed to Finasa/Osasco in 2003. The club even announced it would close its adult volleyball department in April 2009, after losing the 2008-2009 Superliga final. But four days later it was announced the return of the adult team, through a group of sponsors in partnership with the Prefecture of Osasco. Emilce "Mimi" Sosa (born 11 September 1987) is an Argentine volleyball player who represents Argentina in international competition. 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams. The competition was held between May and July 2019, and for the second time, the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China. United States won their second title in the competition, defeating Brazil in five sets on the final, after being 0–2 down. China defeated Turkey in four sets for the bronze medal.
