Miles Scotson
Miles Scotson (born 18 January 1994) is an Australian track and road cycling racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Scotson was a student at Trinity College Gawler, completing his studies in 2011. Scotson's first professional victory was the 2017 Australian National Road Race Championships. In May 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Giro d'Italia. Scotson's younger brother Callum Scotson is also a successful professional cyclist and former Trinity student, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Tour De Bretagne
Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a show case for upcoming riders of the under 23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when the race also became a professional race. The 2007 edition was dominated by Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen who both wore the leader's jersey and won stages of the race. The 2008 edition was dominated by the Rabobank team with defending champion Lars Boom and Coen Vermeltfoort winning two stages each. Callum Scotson
Callum Scotson (born 10 August 1996) is an Australian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He rode in the men's team pursuit at the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships winning a gold medal. Scotson's older brother Miles Scotson is also a successful professional cyclist and they are both former students of Trinity College Gawler. The 2019 Giro d'Italia was a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race organised by RCS Sport that took place mainly in Italy, between 11 May and 2 June 2019. The race was the 102nd edition of the Giro d'Italia and was the first Grand Tour of the 2019 cycling season. Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles. History Track cycling has been around since at least 1870. When track cycling was in its infancy, it was held on velodromes similar to the ones used today. 2016 UCI Road World Championships
The 2016 UCI Road World Championships took place in Doha, Qatar, in October 2016. The championships was moved from the traditional September to October to avoid extreme hot and blustery weather. The event consisted of a road race, a team time trial and a time trial for elite men and women and a road race and a time trial for men under-23, junior men and junior women. It was the 89th Road World Championships and the first time that Qatar and the Middle East hosted the championships. Bidding Qatar was announced as the host during the 2012 UCI Road World Championships in the Netherlands. Norway also made a bid but was unsuccessful. The UCI Road World Championships are the annual world championships for bicycle road racing organized by the (UCI). The UCI Road World Championships consist of events for road race and individual time trial, and a mixed team relay.
