Milburn, Kentucky
Milburn is an unincorporated community in Carlisle County, Kentucky, United States. Its elevation is 482 feet (147 m), and it is located at (36.7986679, -88.8997817). Located along Kentucky Route 80 at its junction with Kentucky Routes 1371 and 1377, Milburn lies amid rolling countryside at the headwaters of Guess Creek, a tributary of Bayou du Chien; the nearest point on the Mississippi River is approximately to the west. Nearby cities include Arlington, by air to the west, and Bardwell, by air to the northwest; Milburn is connected to them by Kentucky Route 80 and Kentucky Route 1377 respectively. Milburn Schools is a private school and charter school operator headquartered in Lake Ridge, Prince William County, Virginia, United States, near Woodbridge. The Milburn education management organization was absorbed into NonPublic Educational Services, which was acquired by Catapult Learning in 2012. The Texas schools appear to have been taken over by the local public school districts. There are two Richard Milburn Academies in Florida, but no indication that they are managed from Virginia. Milburn Building
The Milburn building was built in 1886 at 47-55 Colborne Street, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by architect Edward James Lennox. Lennox was well known for his work in Toronto for his work on more famous buildings like Casa Loma and Toronto's old city hall. The Milburn building was originally constructed to serve as a warehouse for a wholesaler of patent medicines. The block on the south side of Colborne Street between Church Street and Leader Lane remains in use, and the storefronts house restaurants. Marilyn M. The Milburn Baronetcy, of Guyzance in the Parish of Shilbottle in the County of Northumberland, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. Milburn are an indie rock band from Sheffield, England, that consisted of Joe Carnall, Louis Carnall, Tom Rowley, and Joe Green. They announced their split on 28 March 2008, with the band playing one final gig at Carling Academy Sheffield, Sheffield's Carling Academy on 24 May 2008 before reuniting in 2016. History Formation Milburn's formation came after years of friendship through playing football together. Joe Green started playing the drums and Tom and Louis Carnall both learned to play guitar. The three then decided to form a band, in which they would play cover versions of songs by bands they admired. However the band required a singer and bass player, so they encouraged Louis Carnall's younger brother Joe Carnall to join, despite him not knowing how to sing or play bass.
