Milan-Inter HC was an ice hockey team in Milan, Italy. The club was formed in 1956 by the merger of HC Milano, Hockey Club Milano Inter and HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano. They competed in the Serie A (ice hockey), Serie A in the 1956–57 Serie A (ice hockey) season, 1956-57 and 1957–58 Serie A (ice hockey) season, 1957-58 seasons, winning the championship in 1958. Italian Hockey League - Serie A, formerly known as Serie A, is the top tier of professional ice hockey in Italy, which first began play in 1925. They are conducted under the authority of the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio (FISG). The league initially merged with the Inter-National League to become the Alps Hockey League in 2016. Italian teams in the Alps Hockey League also compete in the Italian Hockey League - Serie A. The league was known as ''Elite.A'' during the 2013–14 season, and as ''Italian Hockey League - Elite'' during the 2017–18 season. Hockey Club Milano was an Italian ice hockey team based in Milan. Throughout its history, the team has changed its name twice. It was previously called ''Associazione Disco Ghiaccio Milano'' and ''Hockey Club Milano Inter''. The club was founded in 1924 and finally folded in 1956. They were one of founder members of the Campionato italiano di hockey su ghiaccio and were its first champion, in 1925. HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano
HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano was an ice hockey team in Milan, Italy. They played in the Serie A, the top level of ice hockey in Italy. History The club was founded in 1933 and won their first of four Serie A championships in 1935. They also won the Spengler Cup three times, the first of them being in 1934. They merged with HC Milano in 1937, a merger which lasted until 1941. After World War II the club became independent again.
