Jersey Green
Jersey ( , ; nrf, Jèrri, label=Jèrriais ), officially the Bailiwick of Jersey (french: Bailliage de Jersey, links=no; Jèrriais: ), is an island country and self-governing Crown Dependency near the coast of north-west France. It is the largest of the Channel Islands and is from the Cotentin Peninsula in Normandy. The Bailiwick consists of the main island of Jersey and some surrounding uninhabited islands and rocks including Les Dirouilles, Les Écréhous, Les Minquiers, and Les Pierres de Lecq. Jersey was part of the Duchy of Normandy, whose dukes became kings of England from 1066. After Normandy was lost by the kings of England in the 13th century, and the ducal title surrendered to France, Jersey remained loyal to the English Crown, though it never became part of the Kingdom of England. Jersey is a self-governing parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy, with its own financial, legal and judicial systems, and the power of self-determination. The island ...

Tour Eritrea
The Tour of Eritrea ( ti, ዙር ኤርትራ, it, Giro dell’ Eritrea) is a multistage bicycle race held annually throughout Eritrea. History The first race was staged in 1946. It was promoted by the Italian community of Eritrea with the Italian name ''Primo Giro dell'Eritrea''. Its inaugural Tour of Eritrea had 34 participants and was won by Nunzio Barrilà of the team A.C. Piemonte. It had five stages, with a very difficult ''Premio della Montagna'' (Stage of the Mountain). In 1947, the second ''Giro dell'Eritrea'' was not allowed because of political reasons related to a growing guerrilla war in British occupied Eritrea. However, a smaller Giro/Tour was held in its place called the ''Giro delle 3 Valli'' ("Tour of the 3 Valleys"). It was won by Esmiles Zoli. In 2001, after a fifty-year-long hiatus, the Tour was resurrected as celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Eritrean independence. It was won by Habte Weldesimon, who repeated his victory in 2003 and 2004. Merhaw ...

Asmara Circuit
Asmara circuit (in Italian called ''Circuito Asmara'' and in English sometimes "Circuit of Asmara") was a car race done in the main streets of Asmara, Eritrea, Asmara, when it was a colony of the Kingdom of Italy. The Circuito was created in Italian Eritrea and was later done -with many interruptions- until . History The Italian government after World War I gave importance to sport activities in the Italian Empire, Italian colonies. One of the most followed were those related to car races. Indeed, in Italian Libya was created the famous "Tripoli Grand Prix, Gran Premio di Tripoli", one of the most important in the world during the late 1930s, but even minor car races were done in the other Italian colonies, like the one in Asmara (and later even in Somalia's Mogadiscio circuit, Mogadiscio). So, in Italian Asmara (capital of Eritrea), was done in 1938 the "Primo Circuito di Asmara". It was won by an "Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza" driven by Emilio Romano on the Christmas race called ' ...

Gold Medal Africa
Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au (from la, aurum) and atomic number 79. This makes it one of the higher atomic number elements that occur naturally. It is a bright, slightly orange-yellow, dense, soft, malleable, and ductile metal in a pure form. Chemically, gold is a transition metal and a group 11 element. It is one of the least reactive chemical elements and is solid under standard conditions. Gold often occurs in free elemental ( native state), as nuggets or grains, in rocks, veins, and alluvial deposits. It occurs in a solid solution series with the native element silver (as electrum), naturally alloyed with other metals like copper and palladium, and mineral inclusions such as within pyrite. Less commonly, it occurs in minerals as gold compounds, often with tellurium (gold tellurides). Gold is resistant to most acids, though it does dissolve in aqua regia (a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid), forming a soluble tetrachloroaurate anion. Gol ...

Silver Medal Africa
Silver is a chemical element with the symbol Ag (from the Latin ', derived from the Proto-Indo-European ''h₂erǵ'': "shiny" or "white") and atomic number 47. A soft, white, lustrous transition metal, it exhibits the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal. The metal is found in the Earth's crust in the pure, free elemental form ("native silver"), as an alloy with gold and other metals, and in minerals such as argentite and chlorargyrite. Most silver is produced as a byproduct of copper, gold, lead, and zinc refining. Silver has long been valued as a precious metal. Silver metal is used in many bullion coins, sometimes alongside gold: while it is more abundant than gold, it is much less abundant as a native metal. Its purity is typically measured on a per-mille basis; a 94%-pure alloy is described as "0.940 fine". As one of the seven metals of antiquity, silver has had an enduring role in most human cultures. Other than in curre ...
