Miki Bunge
Miki Bunge (born 1963 in Brussels, Belgium) is a German publisher and the founder of Goliath Books. Career After graduating from high school in 1982, Bunge began his career as a painter near Deisenroth and actively worked as an independent artist. He was the winner of the European Short Film Prize in 1983. After studying medicine, in 1992 he passed his final medical studies examination and moved to New York City where he continued his work as an artist. This was followed by several exhibitions and projects, such as the RIP Projects with Mic Murphy of The System and artist Hoyt Brown. After various group and solo exhibitions he curated the First Independent Art Fair in 1994 and KunstArt in 1996, both in Frankfurt, Germany. With images found at flea markets, Bunge published his first books, “UFO” by Richard Brunswick and “Bondage” by Laura Manson Stansfield, as part of an art project. Goliath Books is a publisher of art and photography books, founded in 1997 by Miki Bunge in New York. Goliath's objective is to publish diverse and daring photography and art books and to introduce controversial, erotic and fringe themes to a mainstream audience. Michael Austin "Mic" Murphy (born January 9, 1958) is an American musician, lead singer of the successful 1980s synth R&B duo the System. He is well known for singing the group's biggest hit, " Don't Disturb This Groove," a 1987 US #4 Pop and #1 R&B hit. Career Murphy was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, but he moved to Queens, New York at an early age. As a young musician, he was an early advocate of MIDI music technology. Murphy was road manager for the band Kleeer in the early 1980s, and through them he met his future System bandmate, David Frank. Yoichiro Kawaguchi
is a Japanese computer graphics artist and professor emeritus at the University of Tokyo. Kawaguchi rose to international prominence in 1982 when he presented "Growth Model" in the international conference SIGGRAPH. Early life Nazworthy was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Beverly Hills. He is the son of Maxine F. Nazworthy, descendant of Max Factor, Sr., founder of the Max Factor company.
