Mikhail Tumasov
Mikhail "Misha" Tumasov (he/they) is a Russian LGBTQ activist and human rights defender. Tumasov founded the Avers LGBT movement in Samara in 2011 and is currently the network director for the Russian LGBT Network. Born in 1975, Tumasov comes from Astrachan, a city in southern Russia. He moved to Samara when he was in his mid-twenties, where he lived a quiet life together with his partner, Denis, and worked as a sales and distribution manager for local media companies. He met Denis in 2005, and they have been together ever since. LGBT

Russian LGBT Network
The Russian LGBT Network (russian: Российская ЛГБТ-сеть) is a non-governmental LGBT rights organization working for the social acceptance of and protection of the rights of LGBT people in Russia. Founded in 2006, it was reformed into the first (and only) Russian inter-regional LGBT rights organization on October 19, 2008. The organization is a member of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA) and is led by Russian LGBT rights activist Igor Kochetkov. Goals The network was created to rally public support for the elimination of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, to spread the idea of tolerance in Russian society and to help LGBT people lead public lives. Astrakhan
Astrakhan ( rus, Астрахань, p=ˈastrəxənʲ) is the largest city and administrative centre of Astrakhan Oblast in Southern Russia. The city lies on two banks of the Volga, in the upper part of the Volga Delta, on eleven islands of the Caspian Depression, 60 miles (100 km) from the Caspian Sea, with a population of 475,629 residents at the 2021 Census. Anti-gay Propaganda
Homophobic propaganda (or anti-gay propaganda) is propaganda based on homonegativity and homophobia towards homosexual and sometimes other non-heterosexual people. Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between members of the same sex or gender.
