George Mikell
George Mikell (born Jurgis Mikelaitis; 4 April 1929 – 12 May 2020) was a Lithuanian-Australian actor and writer best known for his performances as Schutzstaffel (SS) officers in '' The Guns of Navarone'' (1961) and '' The Great Escape'' (1963). Mikell appeared in over 30 British and American feature films and had numerous leading roles in theatre. Henry J
The Henry J is an American automobile built by the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation and named after its chairman, Henry J. Kaiser. Production of six-cylinder models began in their Willow Run factory in Michigan on July 1950, and four-cylinder production started shortly after Labor Day, 1950. The official public introduction was on September 28, 1950. The car was marketed through 1954. Development The Henry J was the idea of Henry J. Kaiser, who sought to increase sales of his Kaiser automotive line by adding a car that could be built inexpensively and thus affordable for the average American in the same vein that Henry Ford produced the Model T. The goal was to attract "less affluent buyers who could only afford a used car" and the attempt became a pioneering American compact car. Quintin Perry Mikell (born September 16, 1980) is a former American football safety (American football position), safety who played for eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Boise State University, he was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He played for the Eagles for eight seasons, the St. Louis Rams for two seasons, and the Carolina Panthers for one season. He served one year as the director of player engagement for the Eagles. Troy Lee Mikell
Troy Lee Mikell (born 1960s) is an American former basketball player. He was a draft pick in the 1983 NBA draft by the New York Knicks (5th round, 105th overall) after a four-year collegiate career at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). Mikell, at 6'1" and 180 pounds, played forward in high school but shooting guard in college. During Mikell's ETSU career with the Buccaneers, he scored 1,684 points, made 637 field goals and shot 55% from the field. As a freshman in 1979–80 he averaged 16.5 points per game and was named the Southern Conference (SoCon) Freshman of the Year, narrowly edging out Western Carolina's Ronnie Carr for the honor. Over his final three seasons Mikell garnered two Second Team All-SoCon and one First Team All-SoCon honors; in his senior season of 1982–83 he was also named the Southern Conference Player of the Year. William Ephraim Mikell
William Ephraim Mikell (January 29, 1868 January 19, 1944) was an American legal scholar, lawyer and dean of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Biography Mikell was born in Sumter, South Carolina, to Thomas Price and Rebecca (Moses) Mikell. He married Martha Turner McBee in 1894. He lived in Philadelphia and maintained a winter home in Charleston, South Carolina, and was buried in the city. He graduated from South Carolina Military College (the Citadel) with a BS in 1890, and from the University of Virginia Law School in 1894. Mikell was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1894. Mikell was Dean of the University of Pennsylvania Law School from 1915 to 1929. He had joined the law school faculty in 1897, and taught at the law school for 46 years. Mikell V. Simpson (born September 19, 1985) is an American former college football player who was a running back for the Virginia Cavaliers of the University of Virginia.
