''Michael Moore Hates America'' is a documentary film directed by Michael Wilson that criticizes the work of film director Michael Moore. It premiered September 12, 2004, in Dallas, Texas, at the American Film Renaissance film festival. Overview The film and its poster are patterned after Moore's film ''Roger & Me'', during which Moore attempts to chase down Roger Bonham Smith for an interview. In this case, Wilson seeks an interview with Moore. Wilson also adopts other aspects of Moore's style in his efforts at satirizing Moore. David Horowitz
David Joel Horowitz (born January 10, 1939) is an American conservative writer. He is a founder and president of the right-wing David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC); editor of the Center's website ''FrontPage Magazine''; and director of Discover the Networks, a website that tracks individuals and groups on the political left. Horowitz also founded the organization Students for Academic Freedom. Horowitz wrote several books with author Peter Collier, including four on prominent 20th-century American families.
