Michael Williams (born 6 February 1965) is a Welsh former professional association football, footballer who played in The Football League for Chester City F.C., Chester City and Wrexham A.F.C., Wrexham as both a defender (association football), defender and a midfielder. Playing career Williams had been with Everton F.C., Everton as a schoolboy before playing for Hawarden Rangers, where he was spotted by Chester coach Cliff Sear. He made his The Football League, Football League debut on 8 May 1982 in a 2–1 home defeat to Lincoln City F.C., Lincoln City in the number eight shirt. He had spells in and out of the first–team over the next two years, in a side that contained fellow homegrown youngsters such as Paul Blackwell (footballer), Paul Blackwell, Peter Bulmer (footballer), Peter Bulmer and Peter Zelem. Mancot
Mancot is a village in Flintshire, Wales, approximately 1 mile from Queensferry, and Hawarden and 6 miles from Chester. According to the 2001 Census, Mancot had a population of 3,462. In 1849 the population of the village was 282. Following reorganisation the population of Mancot was listed under Hawarden. The electoral ward remains giving a population taken at the 2011 Census of 3,496. The placename Mancot is believed to mean 'humble dwelling', with the earliest recorded reference to the village being in the late 13th century. Although now considered a village in its own right, Mancot was originally divided into three small hamlets consisting of Little Mancot, Big Mancot and Mancot Royal. John Allen (footballer Born 1964)
John Allen (born 14 November 1964) is a Welsh-Finnish football player and coach. He is the head coach of the Under-19 squad of Finnish club TPS. Playing career Allen started playing football at his local club Chester City. After a brief visit at Mansfield Town, he emigrated to Finland. At MP he made his top flight debut in 1987. He made a total of 282 appearances and scored 50 goals while playing for RoPS, TPS, MYPA and TPV. As a player, he won the Finnish Championship, then known as Mestaruussarja, twice. Managerial career After retiring as a player he joined his former club, TPS, as an assistant coach in 2003. He took charge of the first team as a caretaker in 2008 after Martti Kuusela's dismissal. After the appointment of Pasi Rautiainen in 2009, Allen became the manager of TPS's feeder club, ÅIFK as well as the youth teams of TPS.
