Mike Thurman
Michael Richard Thurman (born July 22, 1973) is a former American professional baseball player who pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Montreal Expos from 1997 to 2001 and for the New York Yankees in 2002. Thurman was drafted in the first round (31st overall) of the 1994 amateur draft, after playing for Oregon State University in college. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk.
