Mike Thompson (American Football)
Mike John Thompson (born December 22, 1971) is a former defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Thompson was drafted in the fourth round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars and played that season with the team. The following season, he was a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, but did not see any playing time during the regular season. The 1995 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 22–23, 1995 at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season.
