Mike Smith (actor)
Michael Smith (born August 27, 1972) is a Canadian actor, screenwriter, comedian and musician. He is best known for his portrayal of Bubbles and co-writer of the cult classic television program, films and stage production ''Trailer Park Boys''. He was also the guitarist for the Canadian rock band Sandbox. Smith earned a degree in English from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. For a short time in 2006, he was engaged to actress Nichole Hiltz. Musical interest Smith showed early signs of musical talent, after learning to play the guitar at age six. Before becoming involved in Trailer Park Boys, he was a guitarist in the rock band Sandbox, and signed a record deal with EMI in Canada, and Nettwerk in the United States. Sandbox released two albums with EMI and Nettwerk, entitled ''Bionic'' and '' A Murder in the Glee Club''. Sandbox was nominated for a Juno Award, East Coast Music Awards, and a CASBY Award. New Glasgow is a town in Pictou County, in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. It is situated on the banks of the East River of Pictou, which flows into Pictou Harbour, a sub-basin of the Northumberland Strait. The town's population was 9,075 in the 2016 census. John Paul Tremblay (born May 17, 1968) is a Canadian actor, screenwriter, and comedian who is most well known for his role as Julian in the TV series Trailer Park Boys. Career Before acting in Trailer Park Boys, Tremblay and his future co-star Robb Wells owned a chain of pizza restaurants called J.R. Capone's. Trailer Park Boys is written by Tremblay along with co-stars Robb Wells and Mike Smith. The Trailer Park Boys released a film in 2006, most of it being filmed in the municipality of Halifax. Tremblay and Wells also appeared in the 2002 family film ''Virginia's Run'', though not as Ricky and Julian. The Chinese Democracy Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American rock band Guns N' Roses to promote the group's album '' Chinese Democracy''. It began in 2001, with three U.S. dates and a Brazilian one, while their 2002 tour included Asian, North American and a few European dates. The band did not tour again until May 2006, when it toured North America again and performed a major tour of Europe. The band's tour continued in 2007 with shows in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Mexico. Their first show after the 2008 release of ''Chinese Democracy'' was in Taiwan on December 11, 2009.
