Mike Pinera
Mike Pinera (born September 29, 1948) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer who started professionally in the late 1960s with the group Blues Image, which had a number 4 hit in 1970 with their song "Ride Captain Ride". After the break-up of that group, he joined Iron Butterfly, and later formed the group Ramatam. Pinera was then the founding member of the band New Cactus, a later incarnation of the band Cactus (American band), Cactus. He was the lead guitarist for Alice Cooper from 1980 to 1982. He is currently performing with his solo band and The Classic Rock All-Stars. The Classic Rock All-Stars
The Classic Rock All-Stars is a Supergroup (music), supergroup composed of hit-making artists in the 1960s and 1970s. The band has performed a variety of classic hits live often at outdoor festivals, since forming in 1992. The hit song "Get Ready (The Temptations song), Get Ready" typically kicked off the live show showcasing Pete Rivera's (also known as: Peter Hoorelbeke) lead vocals while drumming. The current line up as of 2019 has Albert Bouchard manning the drum kit, along with new additions from the bands War (band), War, Oingo Boingo, and The Moody Blues. The 1994 line up released one self titled album in 1994. After years of international touring the band has a loyal fan-base some of whom refer's to the band simply as CRA. Alice Cooper (born Vincent Damon Furnier, February 4, 1948) is an American rock singer whose career spans over five decades. With a raspy voice and a stage show that features numerous props and stage illusions, including pyrotechnics, guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, reptiles, baby dolls, and dueling swords, Cooper is considered by many music journalists and peers to be "The Godfather of Shock Rock". The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. Thomas John Dowd (October 20, 1925 – October 27, 2002) was an American recording engineer and producer for Atlantic Records. He was credited with innovating the multitrack recording method. Dowd worked on a veritable "who's who" of recordings that encompassed blues, jazz, pop, rock, and soul records. Career Early years Born in Manhattan, New York City, Dowd grew up playing piano, tuba, violin, and string bass. His mother was an opera singer and his father was a concertmaster.
