Michael Wayne Morrison (born August 24, 1970) is an American author, software developer, and toy inventor. He is best known for his books on topics including Internet design and development, mobile device usage, and game programming. Morrison's writing career began in the early 1990s and coincided with the release of the Java programming language. He embraced the Java technology and wrote and contributed to numerous Java books, as well as developing several online Java courses. His first book was actually ''Windows 95 Game Developer's Guide Using the Game SDK'', which was the first book to explore and demystify Microsoft's new (at the time) DirectX game development technology. He co-authored his first book with his close friend and former college roommate, the late Randy Weems, who Morrison credits with a great deal of his technical knowledge. Michael Morrison (February 6, 1867 – June 16, 1955) was a right-handed professional baseball pitcher who played from 1887 to 1888 and in 1890 for the Cleveland Spiders, Syracuse Stars and Baltimore Orioles. Not much is known about Morrison's career prior to the major leagues. He played for a team known as the Erie Jarecki Manufacturing nine in 1884 and in 1885, he played with a team known as the Erie Olympics. Michael Fitzgerald Morrison (born August 16, 1967) is an American former professional basketball player. A product of Loyola Greyhounds men's basketball, Loyola College in Maryland, he is the school's first Division I-era player to have been selected in the NBA draft, the second Loyola Greyhound drafted being Santi Aldama in 2021. Morrison played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Phoenix Suns during the 1989–90 NBA season, 1989–90 season. Following his rookie season, in which he played 36 games and started once, he was released by the Suns and signed with the Washington Bullets who would soon release him. Mike Morrison (born 31 October 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Keravnos of the Cypriot League. He has also played professionally in Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Lithuania, Germany and Greece. Career Morrison started his career in 2012 with the Antwerp Giants. In the summer of 2017, Morrison played in The Basketball Tournament on ESPN for The Stickmen. He competed for the $2 million prize, and for The Stickmen, he averaged 8.5 points per game. Michael Brian Morrison (born 3 March 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Portsmouth. Morrison began his senior career in the Conference National with Cambridge United. After three years as a first-team player, he moved on to Leicester City, contributing to their promotion to the Championship in 2009. He spent the second half of the 2010–11 season with Sheffield Wednesday of League One before moving to another League One club, Charlton Athletic. Michael Morrison (born July 11, 1979) is an American former professional ice hockey Goaltender (ice hockey), goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators and the Phoenix Coyotes. Early life Morrison was born in Medford, Massachusetts. As a youth, he played in the 1993 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from the South Shore (Montreal), Montreal South Shore. Career Morrison was selected in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers, in the 7th round, 186th overall. He then played for the University of Maine for 4 years. Milton Owen Ingley (May 23, 1946 – December 22, 2006), also known as Michael Morrison, was an American pornographic actor, producer, and director. He was a member the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame. Biography Ingley was born in Lubbock, Texas, and attended Texas Tech University there.
