Michael Jerome Moffitt (born July 28, 1963) is a former tight end in the National Football League. Born in Los Angeles, California, United States, Moffitt played at the collegiate level at California State University, Fresno. He played for the Green Bay Packers during the 1986 NFL season. In 2000, he began working for Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana Marion is a city in Grant County, Indiana, United States. The population was 29,948 as of the 2010 United States Census. The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers.
